The CADRIM - RCRC Climate Center's Climate Change Course

The Online Course on Climate Change Awareness for Small Island Developing States which was developed by CADRIM and the Red Cross Red Crescent Climate Centre, with support from the Escuela Internacional de Formación (EIF) and the IFRC Secretariat, commenced this week.

Yesterday, the introductory webinar successfully introduced the participants to CADRIM, the RCRC Climate Centre and the objectives and expectations of the 5-week Online Course.

Participants heard from the following facilitators: Mr. Marco Vargas - DRM Consultant, Reference Centres, Mrs. Janot Mendler de Suarez - Technical Advisor, Red Cross Red Crescent Climate Centre and Mrs. Reynette Royer-Thomas - CADRIM Coordinator.

100 persons from 31 countries have registered for this course.
